Here’s a great formula for celebrating spring: one part music by Annie Hat and the VanTwistics + one part great Nutshell dance floor + two parts light supper and dessert + one part supporting the arts = the DVAA “Step Into Spring” Dance Party.

Celebrate spring Saturday, April 4 with a dance and light supper featuring a high-energy band and lots of great people to talk and mingle with, all while supporting the arts. If anyone can get you on your feet and dancing, it’s Annie Hat and the VanTwistics. Those who attended last year’s dance are still talking about how much fun they had.

“Proceeds from this dance will help to get us through the end of our fiscal year,” says DVAA Executive Director Elaine Giguere. “With resources from the private and public sectors drying up, we have to make every event count. This dance party offers a twofer: a great night out and a contribution to the arts.”

Doors open at 7 p.m., and the dance party continues until 11 p.m. Save on admission by buying tickets in advance for $20. Tickets at the door are $25.

So put on your dancing shoes and come celebrate at the Nutshell Arts Center, 6692 State Route 52 in Lake Huntington, NY.
